Itinerary Overview
Explore the spectacular underwater world of Zanzibar with this dedicated diving package. Dive some of East Africa's best sites including Mnemba Atoll, Leven Bank, and the Pange Reef. Encounter whale sharks (seasonal), green sea turtles, moray eels, lionfish, and an incredible diversity of coral formations. Suitable for certified divers and beginners alike.
Your Journey
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrive in Zanzibar and transfer to your dive resort. Meet your PADI-certified dive instructors for a briefing and equipment check. Afternoon orientation dive at a nearby reef to acclimatize. Evening welcome dinner with fellow divers.
Two-tank dive at Mnemba Atoll, Zanzibar's premier dive site. Morning dive at the coral wall featuring huge gorgonian fans, barrel sponges, and schools of barracuda. Afternoon dive at Wattabomi, known for green sea turtles and napoleon wrasses. Between dives, relax on the boat with hot drinks and snacks.
Morning expedition to Leven Bank, an offshore seamount where large pelagics u2014 including whale sharks (November-March) u2014 are frequently spotted. Afternoon at leisure for beach relaxation or snorkeling. Optional twilight/night dive at Pange Reef to witness the reef's nocturnal inhabitants: octopus, Spanish dancers, and hunting lionfish.
Morning farewell dive at a site chosen based on conditions and group preference. Review underwater photos and videos from your trip. Transfer to the airport after lunch, taking home incredible memories from beneath the waves.
