This action-packed yet kid-friendly safari has been designed for families to experience the best of Tanzania's wildlife and landscapes together. From the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater to the wide-open plains of the Serengeti, you'll go on exciting game drives to spot the 'Big 5' and learn about their behaviours. Along the way, enjoy family-focused activities like wildlife lectures, bush walks and even a hunt for fossils! Quality time together is complemented by comfortable family tents and child-friendly meals.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Touch down in Arusha and transfer to your hotel, where you meet your guide for a safari briefing over dinner.
Depart Arusha for Lake Manyara. This lush park introduces you to Tanzania's incredible birdlife as well as the famous tree-climbing lions. Join a fun night safari drive and keep an ear out for the whoo-ing of nightjars.
The massive Ngorongoro Crater takes your breath away. Descend to the crater floor for full days exploring this incredibly concentrated wildlife habitat. Kids can embark on a fossil-hunting expedition led by a naturalist.
The wild, wide-open plains of the Serengeti await! Your guide leads interpretive game drives to view the epic battles of predator vs prey. Young explorers can assist rangers with wildlife monitoring projects or join bushwalks to learn survival skills.
Travel to Tarangire, famous for its huge elephant herds roaming beneath iconic baobab trees. The whole family can take part in activities like dung decomposition experiments and studying nocturnal creatures by spotlight.
On your final morning, enjoy a walking safari around your lodge before transferring to the airport for your departure flight.
