Your Journey
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Touch down in Arusha and transfer to your hotel, where you meet your guide for a safari briefing over dinner.
Depart Arusha for the highland town of Karatu in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This afternoon, experience a Iraqw tribe cultural walk to learn about their traditions and daily life.
A highlight today is descending into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive and picnic lunch. Later, join a fascinating visit to a Maasai boma to gain insights into their semi-nomadic pastoralist ways.
Travel to the incredibly remote Lake Eyasi, home to the hunter-gatherer Hadzabe tribe. You'll live alongside these last bushmen and even participate in ancient fire-making and hunting techniques using bows and arrows.
The famous Serengeti awaits! From your luxurious tented camp, explore this wilderness on game drives and take part in a traditional dance performance under the starry skies.
Today you visit the village of Mto wa Mbu, a fascinating melting pot of tribal cultures situated near the Rift Valley. Experience local life through cycling tours, cooking classes, banana beer brewing and more.
transfer to the airport for your onward flight or begin your safari extension. Kwaheri!
